However, it was Shirley’s eyelashes that caused fuss on Twitter, as viewers asked what she had done to them.
One fan wrote: “Can someone sort Shirley’s eyelashes out please? It’s not Halloween”, while another shared: “What’s with Shirley’s eyelashes tonight?”

The 57 year old judge appeared to have opted for a controversial decision to wear fake eyelashes on her bottom lashes.

Most people like to stick to fake lashes only on the top, but it looks like Shirley has experimented with the bottoms, which give the star a certain ‘Twiggy’ look.
And while viewers were quick criticise the eyelashes, it appears that the BBC One star is jumping on a trend that has the ability to open your eyes up.
