Stepping out with fiancé Prince Harry, Meghan Markle set another fabulous style example as she arrived in Cardiff for a royal appearance.
Sporting another controversial messy bun, the former Suits actress has also confirmed her favourite choice of handbag while out for official events.
Instead of following Kate Middleton’s footsteps – who always carries a clutch bag, the 36 year old has instead chosen to follow the trend set by the Queen.
As her third official outing with Prince Harry – who she will marry in May 2018 – this marks the third time she has carried a full handbag – with her Cardiff one in particular designed by DeMiellier, priced at £415.
While this doesn’t seem like a major factor to concentrate on, royal women are known for always carrying a clutch or bag for one important reason – to avoid shaking hands.
An important royal rule, founder of Beaumont Etiquett – Myka Meier – revealed it’s used to escape any awkward contact.

Talking about the Duchess of Cambridge, she said: “When the Duchess is at an event, she holds her bag in front of her in both hands when shaking hands might be awkward.”
However, for Meghan, fan contact doesn’t seem to be an issue as she happily spoke to awaiting crowds and shook hands alongside Prince Harry.
Meghan even signed an autograph for a young fan, something also frowned upon or deemed typically unusual for a royal.
