The Love Island duo, who are expecting their first child together, split earlier this year – but multiple reports claimed they’d rekindled their romance just weeks ago.
But now, Cara De La Hoyde has exclusively given her relationship status to OK! Online once and for all.
“My official Facebook status would be… single,” she exclusively told OK! Online at the Everyday Heroes Awards.
“We’re not dating – we see each other obviously a lot, because we’re towards the end of the pregnancy now. He’s always there at the appointments, and we have quite a few little scans – as the baby is just very small!
“But at the moment I’d definitely say Facebook status: Single.”
However, Cara went on to admit that their relationship won’t effect Nathan’s excitement when it comes to becoming a father.
“We may not be together, but we’re remaining best of friends” – Nathan Massey reveals all about his relationship with Cara De La Hoyde as he shares a snap from their baby shower
“He can’t wait to be a dad,” she added. “Every time we go for a scan he gets emotional, and he just sits and stares at the screen, but he’s so excited and talking about his first Tottenham game.
“I always wanted a boy, so I’m happy. He’ll never leave me! I just want a group of lads.”
The 26 year old mum to be has been very open about her pregnancy over the last months, revealing she wants Love Island co-star Olivia Buckland to be the godmother.
And now, with Cara’s due date just around the corner, the pair made a special decision to return to The Only Way Is Essex for their lavish baby shower.
Having already starred in the show a few times – due to their close friendship with Tommy Mallet and Georgia Kousoulou – the pair retuned to Essex for the star-studded bash.
