Chelsea star Tiemoue Bakayoko has claimed he’s happy and settled at Chelsea, ahead of a vital set of games for the club and also the midfield player.
With star man N’Golo Kante out injured, it seems Antonio Conte will have to turn to the summer signing to play in the middle of the park, and according to Bakayoko himself, he thinks that his relationship with Conte is good, and that he can bring something to the team – which has been shown when he’s played this season.
The Evening Standard report he said “It’s going really well.
“I feel like I have found a family here. My team-mates have welcomed me and treated me from the start as if I was here for a long time and a part of their family.
“From the moment I started, I’ve felt like I get on well with the coach and I know what he wants.
“I am someone who can fulfil a lot of different roles on the pitch. I’m not saying I’ve got no improvements to make and in the future I will always work to get better.
People who play up front are there to score goals, but I’m there to bring everything together in the middle of the pitch.”
Another player who will have to step up and make sure he takes his chance is Michy Batshuayi, who will look at the Alvaro Morata injury as his chance to impress.
Chelsea only have the Belgian to turn to unless Antonio Conte wants to play a false nine, and having Crystal Palace to play is certainly something that Batshuayi will look forward to – given he will be hoping to get a fair few goals in order to build up hist tally and confidence – and impress his manager as well.
