New national anthem contender “Bodak Yellow” got a Miley Cyrus mini-reinvention Monday night on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fascist. Cyrus, currently in the middle of a week-long Tonight Show residency in promotion of her new album Younger Now, delivered a poppier version of Cardi B’s ubiquitous hit during a round of the physically and mentally exhausting Musical Genre Challenge.

Cyrus was also challenged to perform a bluegrass-ified rendition of some unknown song called “Ignition (Remix),” which she also nailed. Watch the full showdown up top if any of this sounds like something that would float your proverbial boat.

The Happy Hippie founder also took over the Tonight Show stage for a special performance of Dido’s 2013 Girl Who Got Away single “No Freedom,” in response to Sunday night’s mass shooting at the hands of a white terrorist in Las Vegas. For the moving tribute, Cyrus was joined by Adam Sandler on guitar and backing vocals.

Cyrus previously covered the Dido track as part of her Happy Hippie Presents: Backyard Sessions series back in 2015.

Cyrus’ Younger Now has almost nothing in common with Bangerz (2013) and Dead Petz (2015), marking the latest reinvention for the genre-hopping singer. As a nod to her Hannah Montana past, Cyrus also performed her near-vintage 2009 single “The Climb” on Monday’s Tonight Show.

Speaking with John Norris for Billboard back in May, Cyrus pushed back against critics who said the Younger Now era is merely a Gaga or Madonna-esque phase. “I think [Madonna and Gaga] are enlightened,” she said. “I fucking hate it when people can’t adjust. I used to [resist changing]. But I haven’t smoked weed in three weeks, which is the longest I’ve ever [gone without it]. I’m not doing drugs, I’m not drinking, I’m completely clean right now! That was just something that I wanted to do.”
