Sead Kolasinac has praised Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez, and claimed the club would be happy to keep them amid their contract disputes with the club, as it seems that the duo will be departing sooner rather than later.
That’s after Arsene Wenger claimed they could even be sold in January – despite refusing to sell Alexis in the summer to Manchester City and making the player stay at the club.
If they do leave, Kolasinac thinks the Gunners will be able to cope without them, and their morale has not been affected with the constant speculation surrounding them.
The Evening Standard claim he said:“Of course, we would be happy to keep them, but I think it is important not to talk about the contracts.
“Mesut and Alexis are two players who always give their all and it is not an issue. It is not a problem around the team. It gives the team security knowing we have players like them, knowing they can make the difference.
“The season is young, but I am happy with how I’ve started.
“But I have got more potential to get better and I want to show that in the coming games.”
It’s a big weekend for Arsenal, with the club on a great run of form, and with Manchester United facing a tough trip to Anfield, at least one of Arsenal’s rivals will be dropping points – and that could well be key for the Gunners.
Their rivals have also been hit with injury issues after the international break, yet Arsenal themselves are worried about Kolasinac who could well miss the game with a knock to his hip.
